S. Korean inn fire kills 3, injures 7

SEOSAN, South Korea, Dec. 27 (Yonhap) -- At least three people, including a
Nepalese worker, died Sunday after a fire ripped through a traditional inn in
South Korea, police said.
A total of seven people were also injured after the fire broke out at around 3:51
a.m. at the inn in Seosan, about 100 kilometers southwest of Seoul.
Of the injured who were taken to hospitals to be treated for burns and smoke
inhalation, one was in critical condition, according to police.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, but police said they suspect it
was started by an electrical short circuit.
"The inn was built about 40 years ago, so smoke was very bad," said a police
officer.
