Tourist institutions survey being continuous nationwide

SANA'A, Dec.28 (Saba) - The field teams of Tourism Ministry are continuing in the second tourist institutions survey works across the country provinces.

The survey, being taken place since last week by four field teams, aims at updating
the database and information on the tourist facilities and their manpower as well
as
seeing the rate of growth and modernization in the tourist sector so as to enhance
the ministry's plans to prompt this sector.
Head of the first team Abdul-Jabar Naji made it clear that the survey process has
been completed in Jawf and Marib provinces registering 150 tourist institutions,
indicating
that the process is ongoing in Hadramout province where the tourist facilities, that
have been surveyed so far, reached 230 facilities.
He pointed out that the process includes documenting a number of tourist
institutions during the period from 2006 to 2009 in terms of size and kind as well
as correcting
the 2009 survey data.
For his part, head of the second team, Abdu Naji, made it clear that the survey
work is currently underway in provinces of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Dalei and Baidha'a,
noting
that 200 tourist institutions have been surveyed in Aden province so far.
