YEMENIA APPROVES AGREEMENT OF PURCHASING TEN OF 320 AIRBUS PLANES



ADEN, Dec. 30 (Saba) - The board of Yemenia administration
approved on Wednesday an agreement of purchasing ten 320 airbus
planes at sum of $ 700 million.

Captain Abdul Khaliq al-Qadi, board chairman of Yemenia airline,
told Saba that this step aims at improving services of the company
by opening new destinations, saying two first planes would arrive by
first quarter of next year.

He revealed that the airline company would operate new flights to
Guangzhou of China and Africa.

Next March, the board would hold meeting to discuss annual report of
the company and its future project as well as plans of development,
al-Qadi said.he Memo of Understanding was signed on the sidelines of
Dubai Airshow 2009.

In November, the Yemenia and Airbus Company in Dubai, UEA signed a
memo of the agreement.
