France confirms support for Yemeni security
SANA'A, Jan. 04 (Saba) - French ambassador to Yemen Joseph Silva confirmed here on Monday the support of France for the Yemeni
unity and security.
During a meeting gathered the French diplomat with the Defense Minister Mohammed
Naser Ahmed, the two officials discussed the possibility to organize training
courses on
fighting terrorism for the Yemeni special forces, coast guards and naval forces.
They also reviewed the several issues pertaining to piracy in the Red and Arabian
Seas and the necessity to coordinate between the countries to encounter such
challenges.
The meeting also discussed means to enhance the mutual cooperation, especially in
military, security, and fighting terrorism fields.
