LS Cable wins 75.4 bln won order for high voltage cable

SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Yonhap) -- LS Cable Ltd., South Korea's biggest wire and cable
maker, said Tuesday that it has clinched a 75.4 billion won (US$65.7 million)
order to supply ultra high voltage cables to an Australian electricity company.

The Korean company received a letter of approval from Electranet Transmission
Services Pty Ltd., which endorsed a building project of power cables for the
Australian company, LS Cable said in a regulatory filing.
LS Cable, however, did not give further details on where or when the project will
take place.
