Samsung to introduce full line-up of LED products at CES

SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest
flat-screen TV maker, said Tuesday that it will disclose a full line-up of
light-emitting-diode (LED) display panels at the upcoming Consumer Electronics
Show.

Samsung will introduce new models of a LED computer monitor, large format
displays, a LED data projector, digital photo frame and music players with LED
screens, the company said in a release.
Samsung said its new LED computer monitor and large format displays consume 60
percent less of power than previous LED products.
Samsung said Saturday it will also disclose a new line-up of LED TVs at the
world's largest consumer electronics show slated to launch on Thursday in Las
Vegas.
Samsung, which sold 2.6 million of LED TV in the global market last year, said it
hopes it will achieve this year's target of 10 million units in global sales.
