Samsung Group appoints new head of Japanese unit

SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Group, South Korea's largest business
conglomerate, said Tuesday that it has appointed the vice president of Samsung
Mobile Display Co. to lead its Japanese unit.

Yun Jin-hyuk, 56, the newly appointed head of Samsung Japan Corp., previously
served as executive director of the Japanese division after working for 10 years
starting in 1984 at Samsung Electronics Co.'s branch office in Tokyo.
