of the tasks assigned to the sub-committees and listened to a number
of proposals made by the sub-committees to emphasize the need for
more time to ensure good preparation and arrangement for the
conference and to expand the participation to include the various
political and social parts concerning with the dialog.

Last week, the committee of the national dialog conference announced
that President Ali Abdullah Saleh approved its request to postpone
the conference for two weeks. It was scheduled to hold the
conference on 26 December, 2009.
