U.S. CONFIRMS TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT IN YEMEN

SANA'A, Jan.06 (Saba) - The U.S. confirmed on Wednesday its
readiness to continue to present all aspects of available support to
Yemen and to finance developmental projects in infrastructure field.

This came during a meeting gathered Undersecretary of Local
Administration for Local Development Sector Dr. Saleem al- Shohtari
with the U.S. civil support unit's team.

The two sides discussed a number of issues relating to boosting the
bilateral cooperation between Yemen and the U.S., especially the
U.S.-funded projects to be implemented in Yemen.

The projects include building a school in Harib district, Marib
province, and studying the developmental needs of the province in
prelude to carry out and finance projects in education, health and
agriculture sectors.

Al-Shohtari expressed the Yemeni government's appreciation for the
U.S. government's care for supporting and enhancing the development
in Yemen.
