SANA'A, Jan.06

conference decided
on Wednesday to request President Ali Abdullah Saleh to postpone the dialog
conference date three more weeks.
This came during the committee meeting headed by Chairman of Shoura Council Abdul
Aziz Abdul Ghani, during which it discussed what has been achieved to prepare for
the conference.
In this respect, the committee reviewed reports on the achievements of the tasks
assigned to the sub-committees and listened to a number of proposals made by the
sub-committees
to emphasize the need for more time to ensure good preparation and arrangement for
the conference and to expand the participation to include the various political and
social
parts concerning with the dialog.
Last week, the committee of the national dialog conference announced that President
Ali Abdullah Saleh approved its request to postpone the conference for two weeks.
It
was scheduled to hold the conference on 26 December, 2009.
On December 14th, Saleh sent a letter to the Shoura Council over launching a
national dialog that should gather all political and social forces as well as civil
