Yemen, US prepare for upcoming London conference

SANA'A, Jan. 06 (Saba) - Yemen and
the United States discussed here on Wednesday the current preparations for the
conference
to be held in London late in January to assist Yemen to encounter the security and
economic difficulties.
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi held talks with the US ambassador to Yemen
Stephen Seche over the economic and security challenges Yemen faces and how the
coming London
conference will assist in overcoming them.
The meeting dealt with expectant visit for al-Qirbi to Washington.
The twp officials reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between Yemen and USA.
Worth mentioning, the U.S. Embassy in Yemen re-opened on Tuesday, following a
two-day closure due to security concerns.
