Kolon Industries acquires HEAD's trademark right
SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Kolon Industries Inc. said Friday that it has acquired rights to use the HEAD brand name in the country from HEAD NV, a leading global manufacturer of sports equipment.
Kolon plans to enhance its marketing and distribution for the HEAD brand to see
the latter post annual sales of 150 billion won (US$132.5 million) by 2013, the
company said.
Kolon introduced HEAD into South Korea in 1981 under a licensing agreement to use
the brand.
