GCC Secretary-General Criticizes Israeli Raids on Gaza 2 Riyadh

The GCC Secretary General reiterated the Council's states' principal and firm
stance of support to the Palestinian legitimate rights, rejecting the repeated
Israeli aggressions on the Palestinian people.


He called on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to
shoulder its responsibilities and exercise due pressure on Israel to halt its
aggressive operations against the Palestinian people.

Al-Atiyyah believed that a firm international response towards Israel is a
necessary condition for the international community to achieve comprehensive
and just peace that would restore the legitimate rights of Palestinian people,
deter the aggressors and stop the series of Israeli terrorism that feeds on the
international community's silence and the double-standard policies, according
to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
