Shura Council Convenes Session

Riyadh, Jan 10, 2010, SPA -- The Speaker of Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin
Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh presided here today over the Council's 67
session that continued discussing a host of issues, ranging from human rights
to legal penal and civil bills.

In a statement followed the session, the Secretary General of Shura Council,
Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said that the council continued voting on
these bills, that aim to upgrade and prompt proper application of justice
according to Shariah.
The Council is scheduled to finish its discussion of those bills in the next
session and vote them into laws, Al-Ghamdi concluded.
