YEMEN, CANADA TO SIGN BILATERAL DEAL OVER YEMEN'S ACCESSION INTO WTO

SANA'A, Jan. 10 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya
al-Mutawakel held a meeting on Sunday with Canadian non-resident
ambassador to Sana'a over final arrangement to sign soon a bilateral
agreement for Yemen's accession into World Trade Organization (WTO)
as they two sides reached final negotiations.


They discussed aspects of the commercial cooperation between the two
countries, the Canadian diplomat expressed concern of his country
with available investment chances in Yemen.

He wished further progress in the Yemeni-Canadian ties.

The minister reviewed achievement in way to join the international
organization, pointing out to the improvement in investment
environment in the country, welcoming Canadian investment in Yemen.

He said that the Canadian investment would receive full support and
care of the Yemeni government based on the Yemeni law of investment.
