Saudi-Chinese Trade Exchange to Reach SR 60 billion: Dr. Al-Assaf
Riyadh, January 10, 2010, SPA -- The Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf said today that Saudi Arabia and China are looking forward to achieving a volume of bilateral trade exchange amounting to SR 60 billion during the next five years.
In a statement to reporters following the conclusion of the 4th session of
Joint Saudi-Chinese Committee, Dr. Al-Assaf pointed out that it has been agreed
on the development of investment cooperation and joint investments between the
two countries, urging on convening the Committee's meetings between the two
countries on an ongoing basis and at short intervals.
On his part, Chinese Minister of Commerce and Head of the Chinese side to the
Committee Chen Deming expressed his pleasure over the success of the
Committee's meetings, also extending his thanks to the delegations of the two
countries for their efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in various
fields.
