STX Offshore wins deal to build 4 bulk carriers
SEOUL, Jan. 11 (Yonhap) -- STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. of South Korea said Monday it has won an order to build two bulk carriers from Turkey's Densa AS with an option for two additional vessels.
The shipyard did not reveal the value of the contract, saying only that the ships
will be delivered in 2011.
Share of STX Offshore were trading at 13,750 won on the Seoul bourse as of 10:25
a.m., up 1.48 percent.
