KPK QUESTIONS ANGGODO WIDJOJO ANEW
Jakarta, Jan 11 (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Monday questioned businessman Anggodo Widjojo for the second time for attempted bribery.
He was for the first time grilled by KPK investigators for 10 hours last Friday.
KPK spokesman Johan Budi said the Commission needed additional data from Anggodo and therefore it had summoned him again for questioning.
"KPK wants to have more information from Anggodo," Johan Budi said, adding that the businessman arrived at the KPK office at 9 a.m. accompanied by his lawyer.
On arrival in the KPK building, Anggodo refused to speak to waiting reporters and directly made his way into the KPK office.
Anggodo was questioned for the first time last Friday after the KPK postponed a questioning session the day earlier (Thursday).
He was initially to be questioned last Thursday but the questioning session was postponed because the KPK investigators wanted to obtain a deeper understanding of certain pertinent matters.
Anggodo was questioned on Friday for a bribery attempt and for efforts to hamper an investigation being carried out by KPK.
He is the younger brother of Anggoro Widjojo who has been named by the KPK as a suspect for bribery in the supply of an Integrated Radio Communication System to the Forestry Ministry.***
