WOMEN ARE 95% OF ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES: YEMENI OFFICIAL

SANA'A, Jan. 11 (Saba) - About 95 percent of students who enrolled
in adult education and literacy classes are women, head of the
Literacy and Adult Education Authority Ahmed Abdullah said Monday.

Abdullah said in a statement to Saba that the entire number of the
enrolled students in literacy classes reached nearly 177,000
students, 12,183 of them have joined basic and feminine skills
classes.

The number of classes amounted to 7,137 classes, he added.
