PRESIDENT YUDHOYONO RECEIVES CREDENTIALS FROM SEVEN AMBASSADORS



Jakarta, Jan 12 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received credentials of seven ambassadors at the State Palace here on Tuesday morning.

The seven ambassadors are Naser Bareh Shahir El Enezi of Kuwait, Sanaullah of Pakistan, Dato Paduka Mahmud Bin Haji Saidin of Brunei Darussalam, Nicos Panayi of Cyprus Republic, Dato' Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin Bin Syed Hassan of Malaysia, Abdelkrim Belarbi of Algeria, and Heinz Walker-Nederkoorn of the Swiss Confederation.

The ambassadors arrived alternately at the State Palace since 9 a.m. in the accompaniment of their respective national anthems.

After that they made their way to the porch of the Merdeka Palace to be welcomed by presidential household protocol chief who then ushered them to the Right Wing waiting room of the palace.

At the Right Wing waiting room, the foreign ambassadors were received by Foreign Affairs Ministry's consular and protocol director general who guided them to fill out a guest book before entering Merdeka Palace main room for presenting their their credentials.

On the occasion President Yudhoyono was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto and Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa.
