YEMENI-EMIRATES COMMITTEE DISCUSS ISSUANCE OF SMART CARD

SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba)-Yemeni-Emirates committee discussed on
Tuesday a study of implementing smart card and E-passport.

The meeting was co-chaired by the deputy interior minister Rayad
al-Qirshi and director of telecom and information department at the
Emirates nationality authority Nasir al-Mazroa'i from the UAE side.

The two sides discussed executive steps to issue such card and
passport.

On the other hand, the Emirates side paid a visit to the authority
of civil affairs and registration in Sana'a.
