Ringer Hut eyeing opening 20 restaurants in Thailand+

FUKUOKA, Jan. 12 Kyodo - Ringer Hut Co., a Japanese chain of fast-food restaurants, said Tuesday it will open an outlet in downtown Bangkok in early April under a joint venture agreement with a Thai food company.

Ringer Hut, known for its Nagasaki Champon and Sara Udon noodle dishes, hopes
to create a chain of 20 restaurants in Thailand in the future.
The company, which has retreated from China and the United States in the past,
said it will seek to open a total of 170 restaurants mainly in Asian countries
in the coming 10 years.
