Spanish driver Carlos Sainz of Toro Rosso Ferrari has today claimed 351kph to set the record of the first day of the Baku City Circuit of the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe.

"Baku City Circuit looks to be an unusual track and so far simulations have had to be done using surveyor's maps rather than detailed track scans," said Chief Technical Officer at Williams Pat Symo
