New Iran-made Drone To Be Unveiled Soon : Defense Min.

Tehran, May 6, IRNA – The new Iran made drone called ˈHamasehˈ (Epic) to be unveiled within few days, said Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Monday. The minister made the announcement while addressing a ceremony to renew allegiance with the aspirations of Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini at his mausoleum in southern Tehran. Vahidi said the drone would be unveiled during an upcoming three-day congress of the defense industries which is to begin in the Iranian capital on May 7. The Hamaseh drone is a surveillance-combat type which can fly in long-distances, said Vahidi. Commenting on the brutal airstrikes of the Zionist regime on Syria in the past couple of days, Vahidi said the attacks indicated the aggressive nature of the Tel Aviv regime. He stressed that Damascus would soon give a crushing response to such attacks, warning that other regional states could also be targeted by the Zionist regimeˈs future attacks, if they were not halted soon./end
