Capture Of 2nd US Drone Shows Iran's Defense Capability: MP

Abadan, Khuzestan prov, Dec 6, IRNA – Capture of the second US drone (ScanEagle) by the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC) reveals Iran's defense capability in the field of military technology, Said Abadan MP Wednesday. Talking to IRNA, Mohammad Saeed Ansari added that capture of two drones in a period of less than a year, is a source of honor and dignity for Iran and its military forces. "Easy control of the spy drone which enjoy a sophisticated technology indicates Iranian forces' ability to infiltrate the enemy's electronic system," he said, noting that the US had better learn lessons from the past, especially the eight-year Iraq imposed year (1980-88). The lawmaker called for taking legal action against the US in international organizations as the two captured drones can serve as a proof of vivid violation of Iranian airspace by the US. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corpse captured the US drone over the Persian Gulf waters. The US drone which has been spotted during spying operations to collect information in the general zone of the Persian Gulf in the past few days, was captured by the IRGC Navy’s anti –aircraft squads immediately after entering the Iranian airspace./end
